Open Water Course – PADI


If you’ve always wanted to take scuba diving lessons, experience unparalleled adventure and see the world beneath the waves, this is where it starts. To enroll in a PADI Open Water Diver course (or Junior Open Water Diver course), you must be 10 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with scuba diving is required

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:
• Knowledge Development to understand basic principles of scuba diving
• Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills
• Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore!

The PADI Open Water Diver course is the most popular entry level dive course in the world and is valid everywhere.
There are two options when learn to scuba dive by enroling on this course. The first option is to complete the theory and pool for the course here in the PDC and the 4 qualifying dives abroad on your own holiday.

Qualified to dive to 18 metres with a buddy
Your certification card is valid for life but frequent pool refreshers and practise pool sessions are highly recommended. As a Dive Wimbledon student you are invited to join our friendly and dive club for social events and diving here and abroad.
